Adds power and duty for local school councils in Chicago to contract with the Chicago Police Department to have police officers or school resource officers present on school grounds.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.

Amends Section 34-2.3 of the School Code (Chicago School District Article) to add this contracting authority as item 18 in the list of local school council powers and duties.
