Appropriates $9,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for continued funding to the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics.

Funds support grants and expenses for free and charitable clinics to provide care or make referrals for uninsured or underinsured people with acute and chronic health issues.

Covered services include medical health care, behavioral health care, oral health care, outreach, health education, screening and testing, medications, disease prevention, and vaccinations.

Effective date is July 1, 2024.
