Requires accident and health insurance policies providing pregnancy-related benefits to cover abortion care, including medications to terminate pregnancy, without deductibles or cost-sharing limitations (except for high-deductible health savings account plans).

Expands postpartum care coverage to 12 months after pregnancy ends for all policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2026, including case management for high-risk pregnancies and mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

Mandates coverage for perinatal doula services, licensed certified professional midwives, lactation consultants, and home births with necessary equipment and supplies, limited to $8,000 per pregnancy for doula visits.

Requires most pregnancy and postpartum services to be covered without cost-sharing, except inpatient mental health services and higher-level substance use disorder treatment.

Extends Illinois Medicaid coverage to include perinatal doula services and evidence-based home visiting services beginning January 1, 2023, and certified professional midwife services beginning January 1, 2025.
