Prohibits ranked-choice voting methods in all local, state, and federal elections in Illinois, effective immediately upon passage.

Voids any existing or newly adopted ordinances by counties, municipalities, or other local government units that conflict with this prohibition.

Removes the previous provision allowing municipalities to adopt ordinances authorizing ranked ballots for municipal and township offices in consolidated elections.

Sunsets the prohibition on January 1, 2034, at which time ranked-choice voting could potentially be used again if authorized by law.
