Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code Section 15-111 to allow vehicles powered primarily by electric battery to exceed posted weight limits by up to 2,000 pounds.

Adds electric battery-powered vehicles to existing exemptions that previously applied only to vehicles using natural gas or propane gas as motor fuel.

Exemption does not permit vehicles to exceed any posted weight limit on highways or structures.

Clarifies that the 2,000-pound allowance is a flat amount rather than a calculation based on fuel system weight differences.
