Appropriates $25,000,000 to the Supreme Court for reimbursement to local probation departments for mental health expenses for Medicaid-eligible individuals on probation and problem-solving court caseloads.

Appropriates $4,000,000 for reimbursement to local probation departments for mental health expenses for juveniles on probation caseloads and in juvenile detention centers.

Appropriates $4,000,000 to local probation departments or the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services for mental health services for individuals on pretrial caseloads.

Appropriates $6,000,000 to local probation departments and the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services for substance abuse services for individuals on pretrial caseloads.

Appropriates $9,000,000 to the Supreme Court for establishment and maintenance of crisis intervention mental health care units for regional use by probation departments and the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services.

Act takes effect July 1, 2024, with total appropriations of $48,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund.
