• Creates a new military portability license pathway for service members and spouses with valid out-of-state licenses under official military relocation orders, requiring 2 years of active licensure and good standing but exempting those with licenses subject to interstate compacts and real estate appraisers.

• Allows military service experience and training to count toward professional licensing requirements for years of practice and education, and permits inactive status for licenses when service members relocate out of state with expedited reactivation (30 days) upon return.

• Modifies examination provisions in the Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Professional Counselor licensing acts to require automatic approval of examination applications upon submission of required documentation and fees, clarifying approval to test is not approval of licensure.
