Amends the Probation and Probation Officers Act to require probation officers to use evidence-based practices in the supervision of offenders and defendants.

Defines "evidence-based practices" as any procedures, practices, or methods of supervision that have been studied and reviewed, with an emphasis on practices that enable probation officers to improve outcomes.

Updates Section 9b of the Act to include the new definition of evidence-based practices alongside existing definitions for Division, Department, Probation Officer, Basic Services, New or Expanded Services, Individualized Services and Programs, Jurisdiction, and Transfer case.
