Requires every public elementary school and high school in Illinois to include a unit of instruction on Arab American history beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

Curriculum must cover Arab American history in Illinois and the Midwest, contributions of Arab Americans from the 19th century onward, and their achievements in government, arts, humanities, sciences, and economic/cultural/social/political development.

State Superintendent of Education may prepare instructional materials including those from the Public Broadcasting Service to guide curriculum development, but each school board determines the minimum instructional time required.

Regional superintendents of schools shall monitor school district compliance with the requirement during their annual compliance visits.

Schools may satisfy the requirement through online programs or courses.
