Amends Section 29-5 of the School Code to include State-authorized charter schools in the pupil transportation reimbursement program previously limited to school districts.

State-authorized charter schools receive reimbursement based on prior year's prorated assessed valuation proportionate to the charter school's school district's enrollment, rather than the district valuation formulas used for traditional school districts.

Charter schools offering transportation to eligible students are eligible for reimbursement at the same rate as their host district, unless the host district is organized under Article 34, in which case reimbursement follows the rate in the charter agreement.

Charter schools must make claims through the Pupil Transportation Claim Reimbursement System and receive funding in the same manner as school districts; charter schools that previously received regular transportation grant funding retain that award.

Establishes that charter schools located in districts without a 0.12% Transportation Fund tax rate receive prorated allowable transportation costs less prior year's assessed valuation based on previous school year enrollment.
