Creates the Prohibition on Automated Online Ticket Purchasing Act to restrict the use of automated software programs (bots) in online ticket sales.

Prohibits using bots to purchase tickets exceeding posted limits, use multiple accounts or IP addresses to exceed limits, or circumvent electronic queues and presale codes.

Prohibits using bots to bypass security measures or access controls designed to authorize entry to events including concerts, theatrical performances, sporting events, and exhibitions.

Exempts auto-fill and password management features built into internet browsers or separate software from the bot definition.

Authorizes the Illinois Attorney General to investigate violations, seek injunctive relief, and petition circuit courts for civil penalties and restitution against persons who knowingly violate the Act.
