Amends the Department of Innovation and Technology Act to establish a Generative AI and Natural Language Processing Task Force to investigate and report on generative artificial intelligence and natural language processing software.

Increases Speaker of the House appointments to the Task Force from one member to two members, with one serving as co-chairperson.

Task Force shall hold at least 5 public hybrid meetings (virtual and in-person) in Chicago, Springfield, Metro East region, Quad Cities region, and Southern Illinois.

Task Force responsibilities include recommending legislation to protect consumer information, developing model school policies for classroom AI use, assessing AI applications in public services delivery, and protecting civil rights and liberties related to generative AI.

Task Force membership includes 2 co-chairs (one from Speaker's appointees, one from Senate President), legislators' appointees, state education officials, security experts, AI experts, business representatives, labor representatives, and the Attorney General.
