• Appropriates $26,250,200 for Personal Services, $2,008,086 for State Contributions to Social Security, $19,359,014 for Contractual Services, and $2,092,560 combined for Travel, Commodities, Printing, Equipment, EDP, and Telecommunications to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for ordinary and contingent expenses.

• Appropriates $231,300 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Expungement Program.

• Appropriates $164,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for statewide training to public defenders under the Public Defender Training Program.

• Appropriates $585,600 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender to develop a Juvenile Defender Resource Center.

• Takes effect July 1, 2024.
