Eliminates duty to retreat for justified use of force in self-defense, defense of dwelling, and defense of property under Illinois Criminal Code Sections 7-1, 7-2, and 7-3.

Provides immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for persons who use justified force, including force intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm, replacing the previous affirmative defense standard.

Defines "criminal prosecution" to include both charging and prosecuting a defendant in immunity provisions.

Prohibits aggressors and their relatives from bringing civil or criminal claims against persons using justified force, unless the force involves willful or wanton misconduct.
