Designates Illinois Route 148 north of Christopher at the city limits (north of Harrison Street intersection) and south of Christopher (south of Yellow Banks Road intersection) as the "Firefighter Kody M. Vanfossan Memorial Highway"

Honors third generation volunteer firefighter Kody Michael Vanfossan, who died on May 5, 2019, responding to a six alarm fire with the Christopher Fire Department

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations marking the memorial highway in accordance with state and federal regulations

Directs copies of the resolution to be presented to Vanfossan's family, the Mayor of Christopher, and the Illinois Department of Transportation Secretary
