Designates the new Chester Bridge over the Mississippi River along Illinois Route 150 and Missouri Route 51 as the "Don Welge Memorial Bridge"

Honors Don Welge of Chester, who passed away on April 16, 2020, for his contributions to economic development and community service in Illinois and Missouri

Recognizes Welge's role in creating the Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation, one of the largest independent food processing companies in the United States, which provided hundreds of jobs in the region

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect appropriate plaques or signs at suitable locations on the bridge giving notice of the "Don Welge Memorial Bridge" name

Directs copies of the resolution be presented to Welge's family, Randolph County Illinois, Perry County Missouri, the City of Perryville Missouri, and the transportation departments of both states
