Reports that in the 20 largest U.S. cities, only half of hygienist positions are filled, and over 80% of recruiting dentists are raising salaries and offering flexible hours.

Urges the Illinois Community College Board to incentivize dental hygienist programs throughout community colleges to address workforce shortages.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the Illinois Dental Hygienists' Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Illinois Community College Board.
