Declares March 29, 2023 as Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day in Illinois to honor those who served in the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1975

Commemorates the 50th anniversary of March 29, 1973, when U.S. combat and combat support units completed their withdrawal from South Vietnam

Notes that more than 58,000 U.S. Armed Forces members died and over 300,000 were wounded during the Vietnam War

Acknowledges Vietnam veterans' contributions to their communities over the past 50 years and their efforts to assist veterans from subsequent conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq

Encourages all citizens of Illinois to honor Vietnam veterans on this designated day
