Declares April 26, 2023 as Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta Day at the Illinois State Capitol.

Recognizes Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., founded January 9, 1914 at Howard University by A. Langston Taylor, Leonard F. Morse, and Charles I. Brown, with the motto "Culture For Service and Service For Humanity."

Recognizes Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., founded January 16, 1920 at Howard University with ideals of "Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood," and notes it was the first Black greek-lettered organization to centralize national headquarters and charter a chapter in Africa.

Commends both organizations' members for their commitment to community service and their contributions to civil rights, the Harlem Renaissance, and scientific advancement, with notable members including Alain LeRoy Locke, James Weldon Johnson, Zora Neale Hurston, and Congressman John Lewis.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to both organizations as a symbol of respect and esteem.
