Identifies significant health disparities: asthma mortality rate for Black Illinoisans is 5.5 times higher than white Illinoisans, with elevated rates in Grundy, Edwards, Hamilton, Logan, Wabash, Cook, Hardin, Kankakee, Peoria, Pope, Sangamon, Will, and Vermilion Counties

Supports implementation of the 2021-2026 Illinois Asthma State Plan to improve asthma care, education, and self-management strategies, including medication access, community health worker reimbursement, environmental education, and school access to undesignated Albuterol

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the American Lung Association in Illinois and the Respiratory Health Association
