Recognizes that the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act guarantees crime victims fairness, respect, dignity, privacy, and timely notification of all court proceedings throughout the criminal justice system.

Notes that Public Act 103-757 (Illinois Integrity, Notification, and Fairness in Online Retail Marketplaces for Consumers Act) grants non-human victims greater rights than human victims, including seven days' notice of court proceedings.

Acknowledges that state's attorneys, victim advocates, and the judiciary face resource constraints and operational pressures from federal funding cuts and SAFE-T Act requirements that make daily notice timeframes impracticable.

Urges members of the judiciary and law enforcement to prioritize human crime victims within daily court dockets over corporate and business entities.

Directs that copies of this resolution be delivered to suitable members of the judiciary.
