Declares April 17, 2024 as Links Day in Illinois to recognize the Central Area Illinois Chapters of The Links, Incorporated visiting the State Capitol for their Illinois Links Legislative Day.

The Links, Incorporated is an international not-for-profit organization established in 1946 with over 17,000 professional women members in 299 chapters across 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom dedicated to education, civic, and cultural enhancement.

Members provide over one million service hours annually in five programmatic areas: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.

The Central Area comprises 72 chapters across 17 states, with 12 Illinois chapters represented including Chicago, North Shore, Quad Cities, and South Suburban Chicago chapters.

The legislative day theme is "Illuminate Illinois: Linking Up The Vote to Issues Impacting Our Communities" and includes participation from Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton and Representatives Rita Mayfield and Kimberly du Buclet.
