Encourages the Illinois State Board of Education's Student Advisory Council to research state symbols and provide recommendations on a state color as part of its 2024/2025 project agenda

Urges the Student Advisory Council to conduct an inclusive and participatory decision-making process by actively engaging students from diverse backgrounds and regions across the state

Emphasizes the need for transparency and directs the Student Advisory Council to seek public input from Illinoisans at every stage of the recommendation process

Commits the legislature to considering the Student Advisory Council's recommendation and pledges to collaborate with stakeholders to establish and promote the state color's recognition across Illinois
