Congratulates Thaddeus Bergschneider on being named president of the National FFA Organization at the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo held in Indianapolis, Indiana from October 23-26, 2024.

Recognizes the National FFA Organization as a school-based youth leadership development organization with over one million student members from 9,163 local chapters across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Notes that Bergschneider, former Illinois FFA state president, was selected from 37 candidates competing for six positions on the 2024-25 National FFA Officer Team.

Identifies Bergschneider's fellow national officers: Secretary Luke Jennings (Ohio), Central Region Vice President Mary Schrieber (Wisconsin), Eastern Region Vice President Caroline Groth (Kentucky), Western Region Vice President Abigale Jacobsen (California), and Southern Region Vice President Jack Lingenfelter (Georgia).

Acknowledges that Bergschneider is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance in Agribusiness at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and will serve as a national officer committed to uniting FFA members through transparent leadership.
