Congratulates Sister Judith Ann Duvall on her retirement as Major Superior of the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and Chairperson of OSF HealthCare System.

Sister Judith Ann holds degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University (1972), Master of Arts in Catholic Doctrine from Saint John's University (1977), and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bradley University (1982).

Joined the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis in 1967 and held multiple leadership roles including Nursing Supervisor, Director of Public Relations, Director of Formation, and OSF Treasurer.

Oversaw significant expansion of OSF HealthCare from six hospitals in 2006 to seventeen hospitals by the end of the year, expanding into communities including Monmouth, Ottawa, Alton, Kewanee, and others, while increasing OSF Mission Partners from 12,500 to over 25,000.

Recipient of numerous awards including the Pere Marquette Award (2002), Northern Illinois University Alumni Association's Outstanding College Award (2006), and the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Cross from Pope Benedict XVI for dedication to Catholic health care.
