Congratulates the Pui Tak Center on its 30th anniversary and commends its service to the community.

Recognizes that the Chinese Christian Union Church (CCUC) has provided services to Chinese immigrants in Chicago's Chinatown since 1915.

Notes that the CCUC purchased the former On Leong Merchants Association building in 1993 (Chinatown's only historic landmark building) and established the Pui Tak Center in 1994 to house community services.

Documents that the Pui Tak Center serves more than 3,000 individuals annually through ESL and citizenship classes, after-school programs, disability services, and adult computer classes.

Acknowledges the Pui Tak Center as an official Illinois Welcoming Center since 2021 and the third largest community-based adult education provider in Illinois, offering state-funded programs since 1999.
