Ratifies Illinois' adoption of the Nurse Licensure Compact, allowing registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to obtain a multistate license from their home state that authorizes practice in all other compact member states

Multistate license applicants must meet uniform requirements including graduation from an approved nursing program, passing the NCLEX examination, submitting fingerprints for FBI criminal background checks, and having no felony convictions or nursing-related misdemeanor convictions

Establishes the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators to coordinate implementation, adopt rules, maintain a coordinated licensure information system for sharing nurse disciplinary and licensure data, and enforce compact provisions

Prohibits Illinois from sharing the contents of nationwide criminal history records checks conducted for multistate licensure purposes with the Interstate Commission or other states

Specifies that the Nurse Licensure Compact does not supersede existing Illinois labor laws
