Adds Section 3-609.2 to the Illinois Vehicle Code to authorize the Secretary of State to issue Law Enforcement Medal of Honor license plates.

Plates are available to Illinois residents who meet eligibility requirements prescribed by the Secretary and can be applied for upon payment of applicable fees.

Plates may be affixed only to passenger vehicles of the first division, motorcycles, and motor vehicles of the second division weighing 8,000 pounds or less, and expire under the staggered multi-year procedure in Section 3-414.1.

Plates shall display the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor, with design, color, and format at the Secretary's discretion, and may be issued as vanity or personalized plates.

Plates are not required to display "Land of Lincoln" and the Secretary may approve stickers or decals for the plates at their discretion.
