Amends foreclosure notice requirements in the Code of Civil Procedure to specify what information must be included in a notice of foreclosure, including names of plaintiffs, case number, court name, property description, and mortgage identification.

Removes requirement that foreclosure notices be sent to municipalities or counties and eliminates special notification requirements for large cities (over 2 million population) regarding alderpersons.

Creates new provision allowing courts to seal foreclosure case files upon mortgagor request for actions filed during the COVID-19 emergency period (March 9, 2020 through December 31, 2021) that were not subject to federal mortgage moratoria.

Applies sealing provision to residential real estate and rental properties with 6 or fewer family dwelling units where the mortgagor is a natural person landlord.

Automatically seals pending residential eviction actions filed during the COVID-19 emergency period if not already sealed, and repeals the sealing provision on June 1, 2025.
