SB0307 Summary

• Entities awarded cannabis transporting licenses may defer paying the associated license fee for up to 3 years.

• Department of Agriculture shall not issue any new transporting licenses from January 1, 2024 through January 1, 2026.

• Upon completion of a disparity and availability study by the Cannabis Regulation Oversight Officer, the Department may modify the licensing application process to reduce barriers and remedy discrimination.

• Beginning January 1, 2026, the Department shall resume accepting transporting license applications annually on January 7 (or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or holiday), with applications due by March 15.
