IL SB1364

Amends Section 6-17 of the Election Code concerning dissolution of municipal election boards.

Allows county boards or boards of county commissioners in counties with populations under 100,000 to dissolve municipal boards of election commissioners by ordinance or resolution.

Transfers the functions of dissolved municipal election boards to the county clerk.

Preserves existing procedures for cities with populations of 250,000 or less to petition circuit courts for voter approval to reject election articles.
