Creates new Illinois Insurance Code Section 356z.61 requiring group and individual accident and health insurance policies and managed care plans to provide mental health treatment coverage without deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, or other cost-sharing for police officers, firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, and veterans.

Amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act, Counties Code, Illinois Municipal Code, School Code, Health Maintenance Organization Act, Limited Health Service Organization Act, Voluntary Health Services Plans Act, and Illinois Public Aid Code to reference and incorporate the new mental health cost-sharing prohibition.

Applies to policies amended, delivered, issued, or renewed on or after the effective date of the Act.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
