IL SB1745

Amends the Wildlife Code to remove detailed regulations for drainage district beaver control, including previous requirements for trap types, sizes, identification, water depth, and placement specifications.

Grants drainage districts and road districts (including township road districts) exemption from obtaining nuisance wildlife control permits for muskrats and beavers if they comply with applicable licensing provisions and trap requirements under the Act.

Requires designees of drainage districts or road districts to possess signed and dated written authorization from their respective district at all times when conducting nuisance animal control activities.

Restricts the permit exemption to property owned, leased, or controlled by the drainage district or road district.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
