Appropriates $125,000,000 from the Fund the Police Grant Fund to the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board for grants to units of local government.

Allocates $42,000,000 for body camera mandates, including purchase, storage, and other expenses for local body camera programs and law enforcement equipment.

Provides $37,000,000 for hiring, rehiring, retention of law enforcement officers, including retention incentives and overtime costs.

Allocates $15,000,000 for additional law enforcement training mandated by State law and $5,000,000 for Mobile Team In-Service Training Units throughout the State.

Dedicates $5,000,000 for outreach and community policing activities and $21,000,000 to assist with mental health treatment for individuals in county jails; effective July 1, 2023.
