• Expands property tax exemption for veterans with service-connected disabilities to include any service-connected disability rating (effective taxable year 2024 and thereafter), removing previous percentage thresholds.

• Eliminates annual reapplication requirement for veterans granted exemptions under this Section, with the exemption remaining in effect as long as otherwise permitted.

• Limits the "through 2023" language in subsection (b-3) to clarify that the tiered exemption structure (based on disability percentages) applies only through taxable year 2023.

• Adds new subsection (b-4) providing full property tax exemption for any veteran with a service-connected disability (any percentage) beginning in taxable year 2024.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
