Division of the Academy and Training shall administer a training program for qualified active and retired State Police officers regarding concealed firearm use and carrying consistent with 18 U.S.C. 926B and 926C.

Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board may not charge retired law enforcement officers more than $30 annually for annual certification to carry concealed weapons under federal law.

Expands specialized training requirements for State Police officers including victim-centered investigation techniques, sexual assault response, human trafficking detection, and hate crime identification.

Requires all police dog drug enforcement training to meet certification requirements set by the Director, with certificates issued by the Division of the Academy and Training.
