IL SB2302

Amends the Election Code Section 19-2.5 to require election authorities to notify all qualified voters of permanent vote by mail status options between 45-90 days before a general election.

Changes notification requirement to apply only to general elections, removing the previous requirement to notify before "general or consolidated elections."

Exempts voters who have already applied for permanent vote by mail status under Section 19-3(b) from receiving notification.

Exempts voters who submit a written request to be excluded from permanent vote by mail status from receiving notification.

Specifies that notifications must include the language "You may apply to permanently be placed on vote by mail status using the attached application" and include the permanent vote by mail application form.
