• Extends the filing deadline for presidential primary candidates from 113 days to 141 days before the primary, and moves the minimum deadline from 106 days to 134 days before the primary.

• Extends filing deadlines for State, congressional, and judicial office nomination petitions from 113 days to 141 days (maximum) and 106 days to 134 days (minimum) before the primary.

• Extends filing deadlines for county offices, sanitary district trustees, and State central committeeperson positions from 113 days to 141 days (maximum) and 106 days to 134 days (minimum) before the primary.

• Extends filing deadlines for municipal and township office nomination petitions from 99 days to 127 days (maximum) and 92 days to 120 days (minimum) before the primary.

• Takes effect July 1, 2023.
