Requires the State Board of Education, in consultation with the State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board, to establish by rule a Montessori education endorsement for Professional Educator Licenses by June 1, 2025.

The Montessori endorsement rules shall outline all requirements for obtaining the endorsement.

The changes establishing the Montessori endorsement become inoperative on and after January 1, 2026, unless further legislative action is taken.

Maintains existing requirements for other endorsements including principal, chief school business official, superintendent, teacher leader, special education, and school support personnel endorsements.

Requires the State Superintendent of Education to randomly audit institutions to ensure all rules and standards are followed when endorsements are recommended or issued.
