SB2756 Summary

• Creates "Class 3 Craft Distiller" license allowing manufacture of up to 100,000 gallons of spirits per year with sales limited to 5,000 gallons aggregate to retail licensees, class 3 brewers, and other class 3 craft distillers

• Establishes "Spirits Showcase Permit" allowing Illinois-licensed distributors and class 3 craft distillers to transfer spirits inventory to temporary event premises and sell up to 156 fluid ounces per person to non-licensees

• Increases annual spirits manufacturing limit for "Distilling Pub" licenses from 5,000 gallons to 10,000 gallons per year

• Adds corresponding self-distribution exemption provisions (paragraph 21) for class 3 craft distillers to sell up to 5,000 gallons of spirits to retail licensees and other craft distillers with State Commission approval

• Sets license fees for Class 3 Craft Distiller licenses at $175 for online renewal and $200 for initial/non-online renewal
