IL SB2757

Amends the Illinois Pesticide Act to modify pesticide regulation authority for political subdivisions and home rule units.

Removes prohibition on pesticide regulation by all political subdivisions except counties and municipalities with populations over 2,000,000.

Establishes that neither home rule units nor other political subdivisions may regulate pesticides in a manner less restrictive than state regulation under the Act.

Designates this limitation as subject to Article VII, Section 6(i) of the Illinois Constitution regarding concurrent exercise of powers by home rule units.
