Amends the Firearms Restraining Order Act to require that when a law enforcement officer files a petition, the officer's employing agency shall be listed as the petitioner on all public records instead of the individual officer's name.

Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to apply the same anonymity requirement to domestic violence orders of protection and civil no contact orders when filed by law enforcement officers or agents.

Protects the identity of law enforcement officers filing these protective orders by replacing their names with their employing agency on all public records related to the petitions.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
