IL SB2846

Amends the Illinois Procurement Code Section 40-15 to increase the rent threshold for small property leases that do not require a request for information process from $100,000 to $200,000 per year.

Property of less than 10,000 square feet with base rent of less than $200,000 per year is now exempt from the request for information procurement process.

Changes terminology from "rent" to "base rent" in the exemption criteria for small property leases.

Effective immediately upon enactment.
