IL SB2930

Amends the General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986 to add reporting requirements for charitable organizations that grant $1,000,000 or more annually to other charities.

Requires affected corporations to post aggregated demographic information of directors and officers on their public websites within 30 days of filing their annual charitable organization report, including race, ethnicity, gender, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Mandates aggregated demographic information remain accessible on websites for at least 3 years after posting.

Directs the Department of Human Rights to develop and publish standardized demographic classification categories for corporations to use in reporting, with periodic reviews and updates.

Allows individuals to decline disclosure of any or all personal demographic information when corporations collect this data.
