SB2931 Summary

• Amends the Nursing Home Care Act to require the Department to publish an annual Directory for each public health region listing nursing home facilities available to the public

• Directory must contain facility name and address, number and type of licensed beds, cooperating hospital name, administrator name, facility telephone number, provider association membership and accreditation status, and facility website address if available

• Department may charge a fee for the Directory, which must be made available at all Department offices

• Detailed information concerning basic care costs and operating policies must be available to the public upon request at each facility, though facilities may refuse to disclose such information
