IL SB3099

Amends the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program Act to allow physical examinations for medical cannabis certification to be performed by remote means, including telemedicine.

Removes the prohibition on remote examinations, changing the language from "may not" to "may" be performed by remote means.

Applies to certifying health care professionals licensed under the Medical Practice Act, Nurse Practice Act, or Physician Assistant Practice Act who hold a controlled substances license.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
