Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 to add a new exemption allowing full-time, sworn, and compensated firefighters to carry concealed pistols, revolvers, stun guns, tasers, or other firearms while on duty.

Requires firefighters to possess a valid concealed carry license under the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to qualify for the exemption.

Mandates that firefighters obtain approval to carry weapons on duty from the mayor, city council, village president, or village board of trustees of their jurisdiction.

Applies the exemption to subsections 24-1(a)(4) and 24-1(a)(10) of the Criminal Code, which regulate firearm possession and carrying restrictions.
