SB3230 - Mobile Home Park Act Amendments

• Mobile home park operators must pay annual reinspection fees each year to receive a new annual license.

• Operating a mobile home park without a current license results in a fine of $10 per day per site.

• Licenses are non-transferable; buyers of mobile home parks must apply for a new license within 10 days of sale and pay any delinquent fees of the prior owner.

• Annual license fees increase effective January 1, 2025 from $250 plus $75 per space to $300 plus $25 per space; amended license fees increase from $11 to $25.

• Department of Public Health must conduct annual inspections of each mobile home park and may charge $300 per reinspection site visit if violations are found and corrective reinspection is required.
