SB3255 Summary

• Illinois Gaming Board may require video gaming terminals to display messages informing players they can round winnings down to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to special causes under the Illinois Lottery Law.

• Board shall adopt rules establishing criteria and processes enabling video gaming terminals and payout machines to offer players the option to round winnings down to the nearest whole dollar or $0 and donate the difference to the State Lottery Fund for Special Causes.

• Payout tickets dispensed by video gaming terminals must indicate the total amount to be donated to special causes through the State Lottery Fund, in addition to existing required information.
