IL SB3271

Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act to define "source of income" as including lawful income from federal, state, local, or nonprofit-administered benefit or subsidy programs, specifically including the Housing Choice Voucher program.

Adds new Section 3-107 to establish procedures for investigating housing choice voucher discrimination allegations upon request by a public housing authority.

Requires the Department of Human Rights to conduct investigations into source of income and housing choice voucher discrimination violations and initiate enforcement action against violators if substantial evidence is found.
